A more personal About Me from Christina
I grew up on a beach in California which shaped me from a very young age to navigate my way through life paying attention to the rhythms around me. In people, in my surroundings, my goals, and God. My gifts flow from these rhythms. I am a creative soul that got a large dose of breezy and a small dose of logic which is why I married my husband because he got almost all logic! It took awhile but we learned to make it a beautiful balance. At 18 years old I made a decision to follow Jesus and it is the best decision I have ever made. I have followed him to the jungles of the Philippines for 6 years and all over the world after that sharing with those who have little way to hear about the love of God that changed my life. I was blessed to live my dream of becoming a mom and have raised two amazing boys who are now 24 and 25. At this season of my life I am living out my days establishing and cultivating this vision God has placed on my heart through the organization I founded, A Pearl for Every Girl. I live in a house we call The River, I live between Two Rivers, and my goal is help girls on their Journey to The River that flows from God. When I am not working you can find me on the river fly fishing with my husband, Michael. I find inspiration all around me: through nature, listening to people, watching strangers, worship music and most of all through watching the girls in our programs create anything that helps them bring a visual to life of what they are working out in the spirit. I love my coffee, fruit shakes, eating super healthy, reclaimed barn-wood, designing anything, organizing, hiking, any sort of adventure by a river or the ocean. Mainly, my most favorite thing is helping girls grow on their journey with God.
In 2011, Christina DiMari founded the nonprofit organization, Mountain Fountain Creations. The specific outreach and mission, A Pearl for Every Girl, was added under this umbrella and is the main focus of our programs. In 2017, The River Boutique was added as well in an attempt to find a creative way to raise funds for their programs as well as provide a unique way for girls to share their stories.
Our dream is that every girl from every community all over the world would know and believe she is a pearl of much value; that every girl would have a pearl who is willing to shine light into her life; and that she would be a pearl for another girl!
The River of Life
Then the angel showed me THE RIVER of the water of life, pure as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, THE TREE OF LIFE with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The LEAVES of the tree were for the HEALING of the nations. -Revelation 22:1-2
An Invitation to Come
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. - Revelation 22:17
A Story to Share
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”
We teach girls/women how to respond to this invitation and come to the river and receive what they need for wherever they are on their journey. We then equip the girls to root their life at this river like a tree and consider how everything they have experienced and learned can become the leaves of their tree that will be the healing for the nations & bring love & life to others!
